I have kept up with moondream when the first prototype was released by Vik. We then studied Moondream in class as an example and I have been in love with how powerful and easy to use it is.
Who I Am
I'm a ML engineer and currently a student at Northeastern University, Boston.
What I Do
I am a machine learning engineer specializing in deep learning architecture research and inference optimization. I primarily focus on large language model optimization with transformers, while also pursuing research in deep learning architecture design.
Why Moondream
I have kept up with moondream when the first prototype was released by Vik. We then studied Moondream in class as an example and I have been in love with how powerful and easy to use it is. The support from the team is awesome too.
My Use Case
I used moondream for many tasks, like captioning and general VQA. One of my biggest projects was writing inference for moondream2 from scratch using my own engine in the Zig language. I am also fine tuning it to play Pokemon on its own and it's fun.
My Story
I am a machine learning engineer specializing in deep learning architecture research and inference optimization. I primarily focus on large language model optimization with transformers, while also pursuing research in deep learning architecture design. My goal is to make AI more accessible and efficient, with a particular emphasis on lower-end hardware and large GPU servers.
