The Moondream Server is a one-click app that runs Moondream on your local machine. It's free, easy, and runs on any platform.

Running the Server

How to Run

You can run the Moondream Server in two ways:

• As an app: Simply double-click the moondream-server executable
• Through a shell: Open your terminal and run $ ./moondream-server

First-time Initialization

When you run the server for the first time, it will initialize and automatically download the latest Moondream model. This may take a few moments depending on your internet connection.

Server Configuration

By default, the server will run on local port 2020. You can access it at http://localhost:2020.

If you want to run it on a different port, use the --port flag:

moondream-server --port 54321

This will start the server on port 54321 instead of the default port.
